Skoda Auto India has started taking pre-booking orders for the second batch of the Octavia RS at Rs 2.50 lakh. The window is open for a limited time, from 8 PM on 18th August until 5 PM on 19th August, and only 50 units will be allotted. The press release mentions that first priority will be given to people who booked the car last year but were not allotted one due to fewer units, and after this, to all customers. Lastly, deliveries will start this festive season, so expect October.

The Skoda Octavia RS generation Mk 4.5 was launched in October 2025, and all 100 of its units were sold out in just 20 minutes. The result was tremendous, and auto experts couldn't stop praising the vehicle for its ride and handling, and how good a car it is when it comes to using it for everyday purposes. Clearly, the demand was massive, which is why it sold out in 20 minutes, and for those people who were left out, Skoda Auto India is bringing the second batch, and this time the units are even fewer, only 50.

The Skoda Octavia RS generation 1 was launched in 2004, and it was the first-ever turbocharged sedan from a mass-market brand for India, powered by a 1.8L turbo engine and stiffened-up suspension.
