MG Hector Tomahawk Launched On ADAPT Platform
In August, JSW MG Motor India launched the MG Hector Tomahawk, its first SUV built on ADAPT, described as India's first Multi-New Energy Vehicle platform. The Hector Tomahawk is offered in both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) powertrain options, giving customers a choice between the two based on their mobility needs.

For a limited number of bookings, the Hector Tomahawk EV is available at an introductory Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) price starting at Rs. 13.99 lakh, plus Rs. 4.90/km battery rental. Customers opting for full vehicle ownership can avail the introductory ex-showroom price starting at Rs. 19.49 lakh.
The Hector Tomahawk PHEV is being offered at an introductory BaaS price starting at Rs. 21.79 lakh, plus Rs. 3.20/km battery rental, for a limited number of bookings, while the introductory ex-showroom price starts at Rs. 25.69 lakh.

Bookings for both the Hector Tomahawk EV and PHEV are now open across MG dealerships nationwide and on the company's website. Deliveries of the Hector Tomahawk EV are scheduled to begin in September 2026, while test drives and deliveries of the Hector Tomahawk PHEV will commence in November 2026.
The company has also started dispatching the Hector Tomahawk EV to dealerships across India, ahead of customer deliveries next month.
